CommTran Yonkers Amateur Radio Club (YARC)

USCGAUX Flotilla 05-04 teamed up with the Yonkers Amateur Radio Club (YARC) and participated in the Communication Training Field day event. Members had the opportunity to set up equipment, learn about communications and train on correct radio usage. Special Thanks to YARC Communications Officer Gil Lugo for coordinating.

Memorial Day Parades 2023

May 28th & May 29th, Cadets from the George Washington Division represented the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps at the Memorial Day Parade in Queens, NY and White Plains, NY respectively.

Fleet Week at the Intrepid Museum

The George Washington & Iwo Jima Division got together during Fleet Week at the Intrepid museum; toured the USS Wasp (LHD-1), a United States Navy multipurpose amphibious assault ship, and the lead ship of her class; and participated in the GWD recruitment booth.

Visit to United States Naval Academy
